Location: Baker City, OR
Service Area: Baker, Union, Grant & Wallowa Counties
Part-Time/Full-Time
Appliances & More is looking for a dependable, hardworking Delivery & Installation Team Member to join our team. We are a locally owned business serving a large rural region, and our delivery team plays a major role in customer satisfaction.
This is a physical, hands-on job for someone who takes pride in doing things carefully, safely, and professionally.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver and install appliances including washers, dryers, ranges, refrigerators, and dishwashers
- Properly hook up appliances using cords, water lines, drain hoses, and basic connections
- Deliver furniture, mattresses, hot tubs, and other large home products
- Safely load, unload, and move merchandise using proper equipment
- Protect customers’ homes during deliveries (floors, doorways, walls, and stairs)
- Remove and haul away old appliances or furniture when needed
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers in their homes
- Work as part of a team to complete deliveries efficiently
- Help organize the warehouse and prep items for delivery
- Assist with moving freight and keeping work areas organized
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely with equipment and team help
- Comfortable working in all types of homes, tight spaces, and weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to details
- Basic mechanical ability and comfort using tools
- Team player with a positive attitude
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely install appliances using standard cords and hoses
Bonus If You Have
- Appliance installation experience
- Furniture or mattress delivery experience
- Experience using dollies, straps, and lifting equipment
